Refreshed eRA Website Launched Today

We are pleased to inform you that we rolled out a refreshed eRA website today.

We redesigned the home page and the About eRA page but rest assured that the information sections you rely on every day for applicants, recipients and reviewers remain intact!
The refreshed site includes a much expanded About eRA page with extensive new information about eRA and the services and systems it offers to existing and potential Agency partners. You may be interested in perusing these pages to learn more about eRA systems and usage, or to read eRA’s Strategic Plan for FY 2022 – FY 2027 that highlights the five pillars of partnerships and collaborations, continuous system modernization, security first, prioritizing user experience and integration of artificial intelligence.

The changes reflect the modern, trusted trans-agency program that eRA has become. eRA now supports NIH and a growing number of HHS operating divisions and federal agencies, including AHRQ, CDC, FDA, SAMHSA, VA, DoD, and Uniformed Services University and will be welcoming the Department of Commerce in 2023.

Highlights of Refresh

  • New look to home page

  • The Help and Tutorials page, which contains links to online help and video tutorials for eRA modules, has moved from being a tab on the main menu across the top of the home page to being prominently featured in the body of the home page, along with FAQs.
  • Those looking for information on registration will find it by clicking on the Accounts tab.

  • The About eRA page outlines eRA’s capabilities, cites statistics that reflect eRA’s reach (1 million registered users, 24.5 million logins annually, etc.) and delves into eRA’s history in How We Got Here. It spells out that eRA is more than just grants and now also supports the Loan Repayment Program and administers Other Transactions in its systems.
