On Monday, April 26, 2021, the External User Acceptance Testing (Ext-UAT) Environment will be refreshed with new data. The downtime is scheduled to start at 7 a.m. and should be completed by noon. We will send another communication once all activities are completed and confirmed.
This refresh will create a much more up to date testing environment for our external users. This downtime does not impact production systems.
How will the actual migration affect external users?
- All data/information currently in UAT will be scrubbed. Thus, if there are documents or information that you want to be preserved, you will need to copy them to a local source.
- External account information will be maintained if it has been used for application submission. Thus, if an organization exists only in UAT and has not submitted actual applications to NIH, that organization will be removed. However, users will be able to re-register using the same credentials in the refreshed UAT database after April 26th.
- Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOA) currently available in UAT will still be available following the migration.
