When substantial changes are made in NIH applications, we update the form version and require all applicants to use the updated forms and instructions (referred to as an application package) to ensure a fair review. The FORMS-I application package must be used for all applications due on or after January 24, 2025. For more information on the changes, review the Updated Application Forms and Instructions (FORMS-I) page. The changes listed below reflect the changes in xTRACT data tables associated with FORMS-I. For details and sample data tables, review the Data Tables: FORMS-I page.
The ability to add partner organizations and associated faculty has been added.
The ability to report faculty that have left the program has been added.
Certain trainee characteristics related to prior academic and research experience are no longer required.
Information on "Those Clearly Associated with the Training Grant" is no longer required.
