Editing Critique Templates

NOTE:  This section applies to Microsoft Word-based critique templates only. For information about online critiques, see About Online Critiques.

Use the Manage Materials screen to edit critique templates that have been uploaded or to remove an association of an existing critique template. Click the three-dot ellipses icon and select the Edit option in the name column corresponding to the template to edit. The Manage Critique Template screen will open. Managing the Critique Template

Edit the Critique Template on the Manage Critique Template screen.

From this screen, the following actions may be performed:

  • Delete the currently associated template(s) by clicking on the ""X" icon" after the Template Name.

    NOTE: Note: If a reviewer has submitted a critique for the application using the selected template, you will see a pop-up message asking you to confirm that you still wish to delete the template. Click the Confirm button in order to proceed or the Cancel button if you are not ready to perform this action. If you click Confirm, be sure to contact that reviewer to ensure that they submit a critique using the correct template. (click to view Confirmation pop-up)

  • Associate additional applications with this template by clicking their checkboxes and selecting Save or Save and Return.

    NOTE: If a reviewer has submitted a critique for an application using the selected template, you will see a pop-up message asking you to confirm that you wish to associate additional applications with that template. Click the Confirm button in order to proceed or the Cancel button if you are not ready to perform this action. (click to view the Confirmation pop-up)

  • View the template by clicking on the file link in the Instructions: section.
  • Replace the current template with a different one by clicking on the file icon and browsing for a different template.
  • Change the name and/or the description of the current template in the Template Name and Description fields.

TIP: The applications may be sorted using the sort icons in the Template Name column. Additionally, to show only the applications that do not have an associated template, click the checkbox next to “Show applications without a template” above the application hit list.”
