Submit and Update Critiques and Scores After Submit Phase Deadline
If you miss the submit deadline, you can still submit or update your critiques and scores during the Read phase. The difference between the Submit phase and the Read phase is where you access the action menu to access the submit screen.
Accessing the Submit Critique and Preliminary Score Screen During the Submit Phase
From the List of My Assigned Applications screen (or the List of Applications screen), click on the three-dot ellipses icon in the Application Name (Opportunity Number) column. From the menu, click the Submit Critique option.
This opens the Submit Critique and Preliminary Score screen. The Submit Critique and Preliminary Score screen is accessed in this way because as the reviewer, your focus is on evaluating the applications assigned to you and to the meeting. Therefor the action is associated with the application column.
Accessing the Submit Critique and Preliminary Score Screen During the Read Phase
During the Read phase of a meeting, reviewers who have already submitted critiques for their assigned applications can view the critiques and scores of other reviewers. Reviewers may submit late critiques if they had not done so in the Submit phase.
To submit critiques and scores during the Read phase, go to the List of My Assigned Applications screen (or the List of Applications screen) to access the Submit Critique and Preliminary Score screen.
During the Read phase, click on the three-dot ellipses icon in the Role (Reviewers, Prelim. Score, Final Score) column. If you have not submitted a critique and scores for the selected application, you see the Submit Critique option. If you have already submitted a critique and scores for the selected application, you see the View Critique option.
Clicking Submit Critique opens the Submit Critique and Preliminary Score screen. The Submit Critique and Preliminary Score screen is accessed in this way because in the Read phase, the focus is on evaluating input of all the reviewers for the applications assigned to you and to the meeting. Therefore, the action is associated with the reviewers, so three-dot ellipses icon for accessing the Submit Critique and Preliminary Score screen is moved the Roles column.
NOTE: Reviewers cannot modify or resubmit critiques or preliminary scores already submitted during the Read phase, so the Update Critique option is not provided. You can only view your previously submitted critique and scores.
The three-dot ellipses icon in the Application Number (Opportunity Number) column opens one of two options:
-
View All Critiques: Selecting this option opens a PDF document of all critiques from all Reviewers for the specified application. The critiques are ordered by the reviewer assignment role. If the reviewer is in conflict with an application, this link is not displayed.
-
Critique Template: This is to access the template for applications for which you have not submitted a critique and scores. This single option appears when the SRO has configured the meeting to block reviewers from reading critiques if they have not submitted their own.
Accessing the Submit Critique and Preliminary Score Screen During the Edit Phase
NOTE: The Edit phase is an optional phase configured at the discretion of the SRO. During the Edit Phase, reviewers can submit updated critiques for their assigned applications and read critiques posted by themselves and others.
Once the Submit phase (or Read phase, if configured by the SRO) has ended and the meeting has moved into the Edit phase, you can still submit or update critiques and scores. As with the previous phases, you go to the List of My Assigned Applications screen (or the List of Applications screen) to access the Submit Critique and Preliminary Score screen.
During the Edit phase, click on the three-dot ellipses icon in the Role (Reviewers, Prelim. Score, Final Score) column. If you have not submitted a critique and scores for the selected application, you see the Submit Critique option. If you have already submitted a critique and scores for the selected application, you see Update Critique and View Critique options. Select Update Critique to make changes to your original submission, select View Critique to review your submission.
Clicking Submit Critique or Update Critique opens the Submit Critique and Preliminary Score screen. The Submit Critique and Preliminary Score screen is accessed in this way because, like the Read phase, the focus is on evaluating the input of all the reviewers and so the action is associated with the reviewer. Therefore, the three-dot ellipses icon for accessing the Submit Critique and Preliminary Score screen is moved the Roles column.
The three-dot ellipses icon in the Application Number (Opportunity Number) column shows the same options as in the Read phase: View All Critiques and Critique Template.
