Working to Restore eRA Commons

As you probably know, eRA Commons has been unavailable since last evening. Attempts to connect are receiving this message: ‘This application is experiencing technical difficulty or under short maintenance. Please check back later.’
eRA realizes that this is an absolutely critical situation and has made it the highest priority; however, the source of the problem has not yet been identified. Thus, it is impossible to provide a time for resolution. Currently, the NIH Center for Information Technology’s (CIT’s) network experts are working with eRA staff to troubleshoot the problem.
We are optimistic that the issue can be diagnosed and corrected today; however, that remains uncertain until the problem has been identified. We will provide a status update by close of business today or as soon as we have more information, whichever comes first.
