eRA Commons Back Online; Closely Being Monitored

We believe that we have found the root cause of the problem and have brought the eRA Commons and IAR system back up, while we continue to closely monitor and diagnose the situation.
At this time it appears that the current issues are related to the unprecedented loads on Commons and IAR, and are not associated with the infrastructure upgrade. We have taken two steps to address the extraordinary loads — changed the system configuration to allow more capacity and added an additional server to absorb the increased load we have been experiencing.
