Systems Quality Assurance and Interfaces Branch

The eRA Systems Quality Assurance and Interfaces Branch (SQAIB) is responsible for the quality assurance of data and application software for the eRA project. The SQAIB, through the use of government staff and contractors, updates grant records and maintains key tables while ensuring the data integrity of eRA systems. This includes uncovering data inaccuracies, identifying the source, correcting existing data errors, and contributing to the analysis of design improvements to reduce the risk of future data input and update errors. Managing the interfaces between eRA and OFM and HHS accounting systems, the SQAIB is responsible for the management of external organization data and other required federal information processing standard (FIPS) information in the database. The SQAIB, in conjunction with contract support, provides acceptance testing for eRA application software.
