Systems Operations & Management Branch

The eRA Operations (Ops) team manages the eRA technical infrastructure of servers and databases providing support for networking, hardware configuration, problem resolution and capacity planning. The Ops team works closely with the System Architect to do architectural design as well as the Information Systems Security Officer. The Ops team, the Systems Quality Assurance and Interfaces Branch and the User Support Branch (USB) cooperate in the deployment and testing of new hardware and software releases. Operations also partners with the Center for Information Technology (CIT), the USB and IC technical staff to ensure that eRA systems work properly and continue to meet the needs of the NIH community.
