Production (after 1/25/2010) Test Opportunities

Production Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) with submission due dates on/after January 25, 2010 (earliest Open date mid-December) will include application packages with the Competition ID “ADOBE-FORMS-B”. The ADOBE-FORMS-B application packages combine form updates resulting from recent SF424 R&R and PHS 398 OMB form renewals, FFATA reporting requirements and the NIH Peer Review redesign initiative.

The following test opportunities will allow you to test your S2S solutions for the October 2009 release that supports ADOBE-FORMS-B. These opportunities are posted in the AT07 NIHStage Grants.gov agency and the results of your submissions will be accessible in the Ext-UAT eRA Commons environment.

Note: The NIH Application Forms and Activity Code Mapping (Excel - 24 KB) document maps form sets, templates and activity codes.

Test Opportunities for Future Releases

The following sample test opportunities can be used to test through to Grants.gov ‘Validated’ status only (i.e., eRA code may not yet be in place to process applications with these forms). Since these opportunities are not linked to Ext-UAT eRA Commons, you will not be able to access the results of your submissions to these opportunities using your Ext-UAT eRA Commons accounts. However, these sample applications will allow you to test through to the Grants.gov ‘Validated’ status.

We have used the Competition ID ADOBE-FORMS-B1 and the CFDA number 93.847 to differentiate these interim opportunities from the ADOBE-FORMS-B packages posted above.

Notes:

  • The only mandatory form in this FOA is the SF424 R&R cover. All other NIH supported forms are listed as Optional so you can customize your test.
  • The FOA is set to enforce the “minimum validations” set (i.e., no activity code specific validations will be applied).
